DMV Mobile Unit Information
State of Maine Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) uses the City's Council Chambers for State I.D. and driver's license renewal/replacement.
They are in Council Chambers the 1st Monday and 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month, EXCEPT FOR holidays AND State Shutdown Days. Hours are 9:00 am-3:00pm with a lunch break from 1:00-2:00pm. If you have questions about specific dates or any other questions about driver's license or State I.D. renewal/replacement you must call the DMV directly at 624-9000 or 1-800-452-1937.
