Community Development Advisory Committee
Purpose:
The Community Development Advisory Committee is established to advise and assist the City with a review and prioritization of community needs which may be eligible for funding under the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This will include soliciting public input through community meetings and surveys. The Committee will work closely with the City Manager and City Planner to prepare CDBG applications in the future.
In addition to this planning work, the Committee will also help to monitor progress with the on-going CDBG projects in the City. The City Manager or his/her designee will report to the Committee on a regular basis regarding all current CDBG activities.
