Education Team
The Education Team is working toward greening local schools and introducing sustainability curriculum. The Team also works as a public outreach team for other committees.
Next Meeting: Saturday, February 6 at 10:00AM on the west side of Lake George Park (off Route 2 between Canaan and Skowhegan).

Presenter Anne D. Burt has worked as Environment Justice Coordinator for the Maine Council of Churches and as an advocate for MOFGA's local, organic, and sustainable food systems. Active promoting energy conservation and climate change awareness as a founding partnerin the Maine cool communities initiativ, Andy was recently recognized with a national award by Sierra Club for her tireless work on behalf of earth protection.

Green Living Expo was held on Wednesday, August 5th,12-5PM in the old CVS building (88-90 Main St.), during the 17th Annual Taste of Greater Waterville. Community members connected with local businesses, non-profits, and governmnet organizations dedicated to greener living.
