Information Technology Director
The City of Waterville is accepting applications for the position of Information Technology Director in the Technology Department. The I.T. Director is a critical member of the City’s senior management team. The City offers a competitive benefits and salary package.
The candidate must be familiar with multiple Windows desktop and server operating systems. Skills should include network design, configuration and support. Candidate must be familiar with VOIP systems and Microsoft virtualization technologies. The candidate will provide supervision to the technologist as well as tech support to end users. Candidate must also be able to be on call certain nights and weekends rotationally.
The successful candidate is required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in computer science, and at least two years of working experience, including some management experience. Work experience will be considered if the applicant does not possess the required educational training.

Public Safety Dispatcher – Full-time
The City of Waterville is accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher in the Waterville Regional Communications Center. Successful applicants will be responsible for providing dispatching services to area police, fire, rescue, and medical personnel. Applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.; college is preferred. Also, Certified Terminal Operator, EMD, and E911 qualified preferred. Position is shift work that may require nights, weekends and holidays. Successful applicants must meet job description standards as well as minimum medical and psychological standards.
