The City of Waterville seeks to fill the position of Information Technologist in the Technology Department. This is a full-time, entry level technical position.

The candidate should be familiar with multiple Windows desktop and server operating systems.   Skills should include network design, configuration, support, and wiring. Candidate should be familiar with VOIP systems and Microsoft virtualization technologies.  The candidate will provide tech support to end users.  Candidate must also be able to be on call certain nights and weekends rotationally.

The successful candidate is required to hold an Associates Degree with a major in computer science, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and at least one year of working experience. Work experience will be considered if the applicant does not possess a degree.

The City of Waterville is accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher in the Waterville Regional Communications Center. Successful applicants will be responsible for providing dispatching services to area police, fire, rescue, and medical personnel. Applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.; college is preferred. Also, Certified Terminal Operator, EMD, and E911 qualified preferred. Position is shift work that may require nights, weekends and holidays. Successful applicants must meet job description standards as well as minimum medical and psychological standards.
