CITY OF WATERVILLE

Airport Manager

This is a highly responsible position with the City of Waterville managing all operations of the municipal airport.  This position requires on call status as well as scheduled hours.

An Associates Degree or equivalent is required, with experience in airport operations preferred.

The successful applicant will be required to pass the MDOT's Airport Manager's Training Program, if not currently certified by the State.

The City may consider applicants with limited education or experience for an Assistant Airport Manager position.  Only one position will be filled.

Police Officer

The City of Waterville is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  The applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma; college preferred.  The successful applicants must meet job description requirements, meet psychological standards, pass a physical examination, and meet the minimum standard physical fitness requirements of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.  Graduation from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Pre-Service course required.

The City of Waterville offers a comprehensive benefit package with a starting wage of $642.10 weekly.  Lateral entries for experienced officers will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The City of Waterville provides a comprehensive pay and benefit package to full time employees. Some of the benefits include: health and dental insurance, short term disability, sick and vacation leaves, and life insurance. Compensation is based upon salary scales found in union agreements or a classification pay plan for non-unionized administrative personnel.
