RiverWalk at Head of Falls Project

The City of Waterville (Owner) is requesting bid proposals for construction of improvements associated with RiverWalk at Head of Falls project. The scope of work includes drainage improvements, concrete walkways, concrete pavers, concrete cap for existing retaining wall, wood pedestrian-bridge, utilities, lighting, furnishings, plantings, bituminous sidewalk.  A complete description of the scope is included in the bid document.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting with the City Engineer, project landscape architect and project civil engineer shall be held on October 10, 2017, at 2:00 PM in City Council Chambers ( 3rd floor, 93 Main Street, Waterville, ME). Existing site information will be reviewed and a site walk of the project area will follow.

Bid documents will be available on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 and may be obtained by using the link below; hard copies may be obtained at Saturn Business Systems, 54 Main Street, Waterville (207-873-7947) or Mitchell & Associates, 70 Center Street, Portland (207-774-4427), call first to coordinate pick up of bid set.  A fee of $50.00 will be required for hard copies.

Bid must be received by Thursday, October 26, 2017; bids must be received by the City of Waterville, Office of Administration, Attn: Michael Roy, City Manager, by 10:00 AM.
