June 14, 2016: The Primary Election is held on the second Tuesday in June of each even-numbered year and determine each party’s nomination of candidates for certain federal, state and county offices. Party candidates who are elected at the Primary qualify to appear on the General Election ballot in November.
June 9, 2015: Waterville residents voted during a special election to consider repealing Pay As You Throw & single-stream curbside recycling. The votes tallied 1,338 in favor of keeping the PAYT and recycling programs and 688 voted against keeping the programs.
