City Council
Overview
Waterville has a Council-Manager form of government. This means that the City Manager is the chief executive officer of the City and answers to/reports to the Council. The City Council is the governing board of the City of Waterville and is made up of seven members. The Council's duties and powers are set forth in Article IV of the City Charter.
Meetings
- Meetings are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
- An exception is when Election Day falls on the 1st Tuesday, then the meeting is moved to the next day, Wednesday.
- Special council meetings may be held throughout the year on an as-needed basis.
- Meetings are held as a hybrid option.

- City Council Meetings are re-broadcast on the Crossroads - TV Station, Channel 1301 on Tuesdays at 7 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 am and Sundays at 11 am.
