  • Completed Phase 1 deck removal. 
  • Continued structural steel removal – removing span 4 girders.
  • Completed rebar and form installation and placed 2nd lift of Phase 1 of the pier.
  • Continued abutment 1 demo and structural earth excavation.

  • Continued saw cutting operation span 2.
  • Removed a pair of girders from span 5.
  • Continued installing rebar, forms and armor for the next lift of pier stem. 
  • Worked on demo and structural earth excavation on abutment 1.

  • Continued saw cutting operation from abutment 1 to existing pier 1.  
  • Removed girder pairs via gantry crane from abutment 1 to existing pier 1. 
  • Started abutment 1 demo (Waterville)

Site Activities as follows by Prime Contractor: Cianbro, Subcontractor: General Concrete Cutting

  • Finished Cutting and removing concrete on Winslow side of bridge. 
  • Moved concrete cutting equipment to Waterville side of bridge.
  • Started demo on sidewalks, Spans 1 and 2 on.
  • Completed installing forms for 1st section of pier stem wall.
